Did anyone else see this today?

Don't know the name of the program or the names of the people on the program, but there were three people on the show. The left side of the screen was a colored lady in the center was a colored guy doing the hosting I guess and off to the right was a white guy with curly brown hair. But anyway, they were discussing the hiseman race and somehow the white guy said that if there were an all time college player draft that he would take tebow as his #1 pick and I had to love it when the lady asked him if he was serious and started ranting off a lot of names including Frasier and just went on asking the guy if he was serious. Even when the guy asked the host if he agreed the look he got was priceless.

I was wondering if anyone else saw this dumba$$ make a fool of himself proclaiming that Tim Tebow is the best college player ever. What a joke! Yes he is good but the best player ever? Personally my first pick would be Frasier or mabye even Barry Sanders.

Just wondering if anyone else saw this today and what they thought of it. WTF is this guy on?

 
If and a big if, Florida wins the NC game this year, and Tebow is named hypsman, he will most likely be called the greatest college football player of all time.

3 NC's two Hypsman awards, is pretty hard to argue.

He plays like Tommy, would have been a great Nebraska QB for Coach Osborne.

Tenacity, dedication and a great person outside of college football.

If those things are accomplished I would have to agree that he is the best in college football player in history.

Doubt it happens, but who knows.

 
That would be 1 NC. I believe that Leak should be given the most credit for the first one.

I was wondering about the usage of the term colored too. Who are you, some kind of racist white guy that snuck into the back of the DeLorean and hitched a ride before Marty McFly came Back to the Future? :dunno It's 2009, man.

I didn't see it, but I am sure it was absurd. Hell, during the BCS Championship game last year the color guy was saying sh#t like 10 min with Tebow will improve your life and he lives with lepers in the off-season while doing a number of other things. The only thing missing was anecdotes about water walking and calmed storms. Whether or not the tales of his missionary work are true or not (if they are GREAT!) is of small matter when I just come down to the fact that I have Tebow fatigue.

I am going off topic, but I think the best National Title game (this year at least) would be Alabama v. Texas (no not a court case for you smart asses out there).

That's right. Despite all the fools clamoring for Tebow to start that year, Meyer stuck with Leak and that was a very smart decision. Not taking anything away from today's Tebow, but he was not even the same player then. On an ancillary note, I was always impressed with Leak's throws...very tight spirals, right on target, the offense in the latter half of the season just looked VERY fluid under his direction.

 
Tebow as one of best college football players ever? That's quite a stretch. Perhaps you might consider him as a great competitor, but as far as having raw talent which singles you out, others come to mind rather quickly in no particular order...Randy Moss, Bo Jackson, Reggie Bush, Vince Young, Barry Sanders, Herschel Walker, Johnny Rogers, Rocket Ishmael...heck, I'd put Brian Bosworth and Dave Rimington on there and the list could go on and on with both defensive and offensive players before I'd get to Tebow. If you had a top 1000 list, he'd probably be on. Even top 100? No way. Tebow is surrounded by talent which makes a very good quarterback (which he certainly is) look great. He's a heck of a player and fun to watch, but not an all time great.

 
While we're at it...you can have oriental rugs, or lamps, or food... But not people. That said, welcome to the board coach parcells!
