Good grief. Typical "what have you done for me lately" mentality. They only know the present. Barry Sanders was much better than Tebow....look at the talent surrounding Tim. And yes he didn't do too much to win that first NT. I believe he added a TD in the rout against OSU. Show me all the NCAA records he holds.

Because Vince Young, Barry Sanders, Johnny Rodgers, Bo Jackson, etc. etc. etc. etc. weren't surrounded by talent :facepalm:

How many of those players have a Heisman and two outright national championships, with a chance at another one of each? What about _____ Conference Offensive Player Of The Year honors twice, with a chance at another?

 
I don't find it necessary to think of one player as the greatest ever since it's all opinion and impossible to tell, but I think he is easily in the top 100, and in my opinion easily in the top 25.

I don't think anyone here is saying he's not one of the top players but #1 is ridiculous. Let him finish his damn career first. The guy could fall on his face in the sec title game....

 
That is exactly what I said. If and a big IF, he is one of the top players ever. He has willed the team to win and done all that he can to do it.

But with the possibility of winning 3 NC and 2 Hypsman it will be hard to stop those coments.

If he were playing for Nebraska and had accomplished it here, every single one of us would be saying he is the greatest of all time, is my bet.

Hooly S%^* Guys! Sorry to offend with a stupid but honest mistake in my post wont happen again!!!!! But yes that was the guy from the show. Talk about Man Crush! Yes Tebow is Really good but to lable him like that I thought was rediculous.

 
ogalhskr, for the record, most of the general public who knows who Skip Bayless is realizes that he comes on a bit strong, and has wild extremist opinions on just about everything and also likes to play devil's advocate, it's just who he is. :)

You lost me at your first post. In other words...you lost me at the use of the word "colored." Yikes, man...go find some culture other than rural Nebraska.
