Sure....you dont have to break the law to get fired.........I would assume to justify a coach getting fired he would have to
1. break the law
2. create sanction situations
3. mistreat athletes
4. just have horrible results on the field
* To my knowledge, Carl has done none of the above.
If memory serves me correct, he is the first, nor will he be the last coach to have situations like this. Heck, Danny Nee and his players were rumored to be all over opposite sex (yes, married). It happens, I am not saying that I agree with it........I don't support extra-marital affairs.......I don't understand why most people will throw coaches/athletes (Tiger Woods) under the bus because of this, when we probably all know friends or family that have done the same thing. To me, if anyone is calling for his head or hate Tiger now, and still associates with a friend/family member who has had an affair is definately using a 'double standard'.
