Thanks again to you all! It is greatly appreciated. She had a tough, but stable day yesterday. They have moved her oxygen down to 50% so she can start breathing more on her own. Having both RSV and pneumonia is making the recovery very slow and difficult for her. Keep the prayers coming!

The power of God to heal is amazing. My daughter had pneumonia when she was 3. When she was at the doctors office, it was iffy whether he was going to send her to the hospital. By the time we saw the Dr at the emergency room 2 hours later, she was so bad off that they admitted her immediately to the NIC. My wife and I, and some of our friends started praying. By the time the Dr. made his evening visit, he was trying to figure out why she was in NIC...then he looked at her chart, and couldn't believe how much she had improved over just a few hours.

All that to say, I will be (and have been) praying.

I have you and your family in my thoughts. she will continue to get better I can feel it. There is nothing more frustration that what you are going through. Just know that there are many, many of us who are thinking about your family and praying/hoping for a strong recovery.

Sorry for the situation, but wonderful to hear that she is improving. Nice to hear that the oxygen is being turned down. I have said a prayer for her and your family. Nothing worse than having a very ill child. God Bless.

 
I thought I would give you all an update in regards to my daughter. She will be able to go home this evening...around 5:00pm!!! We are very excited and feel blessed at the same time. We all appreciate your thoughts and prayers. Continue to pray that she will completely recover from this and have good health.

This board has once again proven to be filled with great people who care deeply for each other and their families.
