Also his post history. I don't know that any of this flagrantly violates the rules, but I'm thinking if he keeps this up he'll need a warning. Maybe give him one change to make a non spam post and show he wants to be a normal contributor on the board in addition to just joking around. Mostly, I guess, it's that this would be kinda OK coming from an existing member who's in good standing, it's just that 100% of his 3 posts have been in similar vein.

The problem with banning Frank. is that he's posting from UNL, so if we ban/suspend him, we ban/suspend all UNL students.

But he needs to stop screwing around. I tossed that video into the Junkyard.

If we end up banning him, the ban will have to be email address only. If he keeps rejoining (and revealing himself) and posting through the UNL IP, we can always contact the UNL IT department and report him as a troll/flammer, and ask that they restrict his access to the Board through the UNL network. Since we have is real name (given his level of maturity and the fact that he didn't use an anonymous email address, I'm guessing he's not the brightest bulb out there), we can provide that to UNL as well.

Remember, guys, while we post rules of conduct, we aren't limited to them. If someone is disrupting the board, we can still do what we need to correct that. Warn him and see what he does; if he doesn't change, we can ban.

 
I don't have a Facebook account (I know, I know - no social network accounts, no cell phone, no game console; what a dinosaur) so all I see is the public info. Anything interesting for those with accounts who can access more?

And I'm guessing he's the fat dweeb in the profile picture...

I don't do facebook/ myspace/ twitter either, but no cell phone? You are the luckiest man on Earth!

 
Can't stand the things. When I want to get away from work, I want to get away. And honestly, I don't see the need for one at home, either - that's why I have an answering machine.

I do carry one for work, but only during work hours. It's a Blackberry, which allows me to handle work emails as well, but that's it. No apps, pretty stripped down. And when I'm not working, it's off and goes in a drawer.

 
I'm real close to disconnecting from everything at home and just worrying about work at work. It's driving me nuts and starting to get too expensive. Sorry I'm off-topic here.......

 
I'm on Facebook, and this idiot hasn't set up his security to keep out strangers. I know all about him. He's the fat guy in the pictures, and he's getting married in two weeks. Maybe we threaten to crash his reception if he doesn't straighten up his posting?
