Email from Baylor Regent

Wow. If I'm Baylor I'm embarrassed about this guy.

How were these emails obtained? FOIA wouldn't apply because they seem to be private emails.

I love how one of his arguments why Baylor is more attractive than Colorado is that there are Baptists all around the country. Does he really think Baptists root for Baylor the way Irish Catholics root for Notre Dame? Good try.

 
I don't really care if he insults us, and to be honest I think that if Baylor can push Colorado out of the PAC-16 and into a revamped Mountain West that may be the best thing for all parties

Because that is their chance to go into a conference and be somewhat successful. I cant say I blame them either. They know they cant compete with the other Big 12 schools sports wise.

 
i know it has been posted somewhere before, but there is no way that the rest of the pac-10 will allow a small, conservative baptist university from texas to join their ranks.

 
BTW, did anyone else catch who Baylor's President is? Ken Starr. Yes, thee Ken Starr from the infamous Bill Clinton investigations. Today was his 6th day on the job.

 
Colorado getting bumped is in our best interest. In the event Nebraska doesn't get invited to the Big 10 and Texas pulls the PAC 16 card, we need as many Original Big 8 teams as possible to remain. There needs to be a base for a D-1 conference within the midwest.

 
They said that its "hard to influence a bunch of corn schuckers to stay with the Big 12". Whats there problem? >_>

Their problem is that they can never hope to sniff a measure of the success we've enjoyed in the only sport that matters, so they cop an attitude about our state/location/people/whatever being inferior.
