there is a discussion of a possible new RB transfer coming to NU. Alanzo Whaley's brother Chris Whaley will transfer for texas i thought it might get more discussion in the recruting thread.

I read that too, I dont know if he will play runningback here if he comes here. Seems like that would create a log jam at runningback. Plus that might force Texas to push for aaron Green harder to fill the spot.

that is true i never thought of that. but it could also help in landing Aaron Green having another set of brothers the older being on the defensive side and the younger being on the offensive side of the ball.

Just because classes started doesnt mean he could come yet this week. I think we get about a week or so before our schedules become official. He would just be a little behind.

We ar currently under Big 10 transfer rules so no he wouldn't have to sit out 2 years.

as far as i'm aware, the NCAA mandates the one year rule, and most or all conferences enforce a 2 year rule for transfers between schools in that same conference.

ergo, if whaley were to transfer from tejas, he'd have to sit out the one year for the NCAA, but not the second, as we'd no longer be in the big 12.
