Personally I think that Aaron's skillset would be more benefitial to an offense out of the shotgun as a primary set. A Noel Devine type skat back that gets to the edge in a heartbeat, and can catch a quick swing pass or out in the slot. He is real good at riding his FB through a hole, so I can see how he'd like a pro set. However, I think he runs wild out of a gun set.He has said this from the beginning, it's nothing new. We do enough out of both sets that it isn't going to be a turn-off.He also said specifically. I like that they run the pro offense, and not a lot out of shotgun. Not a big deal because it seems like we mold our offense to what our players are best at, but I thought it was interesting none the less.
I should clarify, the communication with Texas has picked up from none to little. He has just had little casual conversations on the phone with Applewhite. Not worried.
