Problem with the New Skin

First, make sure you set the entire Board to use the new QB Sneak skin (look at the lower left of any page where it says huskerRed - that's a drop-down you can click and select QB Sneak). Then, go to THIS THREAD. After the first or second post, damn near everything is center aligned. We had this happen with the current Board shortly after it was installed. I recall I made a change to one of the CSS files, but for the moment I'm having a hell of a time figuring out which file. Anyway, just wanted to alert everyone know. If we switch over to the new skin before I have a chance to find the fix, and anyone complains, let 'em know we're aware of it and we're working on it.

Hopefully, I'll remember what file needed the fix (thought I documented it, but the can't find it using the Search function) before the switch. It's isolated to the new skin only, so it has to be a CSS setting for just the new skin.

 
The lower left of any page for me only reads IP.BoardMobile. The dropdown has no other options. If I could, I'd take a look at the CSS, though. You could try debugging it with Firebug and seeing what CSS definition is causing it.

 
Found it. For future reference (I'll put this in the Editing the Board thread as well), the CSS file is ipb_styles.css. Have to add a text-align: left; to the .post_body and the .post_block h3 tags.

I've set it so that the Mods can now use the new skin from the drop-down (at least, I hope I did). Give it a shot and let me know if there is a problem.

I can use the new one and the mobile one, but not the old one.

(Not that it's a huge deal or anything :) )

Before the change, the drop down menu just said 'IP.Board Mobile'. Now it says 'QBSneak' and 'IP.Board Mobile'. There was no 'huskerRed' skin there before and there isn't one appearing now.

What the hell? Are you accessing this from a mobile device, or from a laptop/desktop? You certainly have permissions - in fact, everyone should see and access the huskerRed skin as it's the default.

 
Hmmmm...I don't have any further ideas. Well, if you want to start using the QB Sneak, and then revert to the huskerRed, just let me know and I'll re-set it. I'll keep poking to see why it's not working for you. Sorry.
