They announced on 1620 that Eric Martin has been suspended by the Big XII for his hit in the Okie St game.

I hope they appeal that, TODAY!!! That's complete crap and those d-bag announcers will be ALL OVER it this weekend, pumping themselves up for bringing it to attention!

Can we call BS on this? From what I remember their helmets hit, but Martin lead with his shoulder. The Okie State player was taller than Eric so when he hit him his head jerked forward into Martin's helmet. The only thing I saw wrong with it was his reaction, should've looked for another block instead of celebrating.

This isn't surprising with the buzz on this issue. However it does seem harsh.
Does he generally see much PT other than special teams? He a second string LB?
