Defensive Personnel Changes

Cooper is a break out star waiting to happen. Perhaps the light went out and perhaps he got his basics down (the high school he went to is not really a great place and I am sure he was free to roam a lot on the field). I expect when he gets a shot, he will not give it up.

There also has to be a time where you just go ahead and play the most athletic guy and not always the smartest. Thats what all the SEC teams do except for Vandy.

no doubt Carl ain't happy with the D, he is trying to find the right or the best chemistry to put on the field.....if anyone can make it better, Carl will get 'er done!

 
Stafford at Peso has me excited but I'm still a little worried about PJ. He came in against Fresno and gave up a 50 yard TD on the very first snap because he completely blew his coverage.

 
Moving Stafford to the nickel/PESO slot will be a huge benefit for us in the run game. One thing Hagg never got as much credit for as he deserved is how much Hagg was able to take on blocks and set the edge for our defense on run plays. Having someone with Stafford's size and ability will benefit us greatly in that aspect.

 
According to Yoshi, Corey Cooper is starting at corner tomorrow... I'm assuming he means the peso position. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.
