Still have room for one more blue-chip LB. Could be Nance, Lambert, or Afalava. Lambert if he wants N, we take him no matter what.I hope Brown doesn't ruin the chances of Nance. This kid has talent

Do we have any shot at Polo? I know he was a verbal to OU earlier in the year, but OU dropped their offer.Nance and his teammate Polo Manukainiu will be visiting Nebraska Dec 16th.
He also visited Utah, I dont know if we have a shot with him. OU has a shot at some big name DE's so that might be pushing Polo away. I'm not exactly sure though.Do we have any shot at Polo? See what I think a few posts above yours. I really think that's what is going on with Brown.I think a majority of the time, a kid's offer list says a lot about him. Now not all the time. But when you're looking at a kid like Brown who mostly has offers from poor football schools (SMU, Colorado, San Jose st). Why do we go for this guy who barely has any major DI offers when we have kids with 20 offers including schools like Bama, OU, Auburn, etc. with continued strong interest in us? I mean I understand we find some under the radar guys, but I'd they're good then usually other schools come in after us and ride our wake and offer too. I just think we have too many guys on the board to take brown right now... Especially when we need guys big enough and ready enough to play as true freshmen.
Nance is going to pick during the Army All-American game.

I have heard that the Nance/Polo duo are strongly considering taking their skills to Waco.Says Baylor and Arky are his favorites. Big visit tomorrow though for us
They do realize how pathetic a Robert Griffinless Baylor is, right?I have heard that the Nance/Polo duo are strongly considering taking their skills to Waco.Says Baylor and Arky are his favorites. Big visit tomorrow though for us
However true that probably is, Art Briles has actually turned that program for the better. I think the fact of the proximity of Baylor(ala it's in Texas) is playing a large role as well. Laugh as you may but I can see Baylor playing at a strong level post RGIII(not like National Title stuff, but TV relevent). They do realize how pathetic a Robert Griffinless Baylor is, right?I have heard that the Nance/Polo duo are strongly considering taking their skills to Waco.Says Baylor and Arky are his favorites.
