I respect your opinion badgerfan, but this is a load of crock. Do you really think Wisconsin is a Rose Bowl team if Russel Wilson had not transferred there, because I certainly don't. That's not a slight against your team, because the team itself is very good, but I don't see how Wisconsin is any better than eight or nine wins without Wilson.

Besides, you don't need to get defensive with Not Since 97. I think it should be quite obvious he's a non-Nebraska fan troll by this point.

I would argue the point and I think there would be some merit to my opinion that we would've had a decent season w/o RW...bottom line is he helped out a lot and 97 pushed my buttons...

I ended up looking into this because it sounded right to me (it seems like the kind of unwritten rule only the Big Ten would have) but I couldn't find anything about it stated explicitly on the web. Anyway I dug through some of the coaching staffs and found one asst coach at UW who was poached from Minny and a coordinator at Iowa who was also poached, after that I kind of gave up because we clearly don't have such a rule.

Maybe its a good thing though because poaching would at least keep talent within the conference. The SEC does it a lot, how many of their HC's alone were poached? I can think of three....

It really depends but I will let you know, for Bo to pull off a miracle win against SEC speed would take a serious miracle, This aint the weak Big XII and Big Ten we're dealing with. I expect them to crush us in the 56-3 range if we're lucky. If we keep it anywhere inside 30 points I may throw him a prop or two. Spurriers joining the ranks of coaches that are well past their prime

While you Big10 teams played some sh#t Pac10 team there, we were busy playing actual good teams from the southeast.
