I know cotton sucks but Klachko was on steriods and failed 2 drug tests. Aaron Green had no work ethic and was all about himself and Moore was out of left field but the gf thing is beyond true, she is very hot and he was never a popular kid with the ladies, its alot of things but the one that hurts the worst is he thinks hes not going to get any better playing here, he wants to play for the steelers and doesnt think he can fullfill his dreams here so he will most likely be going to USF, which is a f'ing pathetic excuse if you ask me...he may go to florida to, but its looking like usf cause thats where his fiance goes.

Hes homesick and making excuses, and everyone is quick to blame Cotton. Hes going to transfer to USF where his fiance goes, that should tell you all you need to know....florida does have a shot as well, but he just wants to go back home, nothing you can do about that, no amount of starts or fame will change him being lonely.
This is kinda what I'm thinking. You don't emotionally blow up in practice unless you are emotionally stressed out. Long distance relationships can do that. Could very well be a case of the kid missing home and looking for a better excuse to justify his wants (and breaking of his committment). Now I'm clearly speculating and certainly NOT judging the young man. I can kinda relate with some of this though so that's all I'm saying.

Thanks for the first-hand info Fowler, didn't know about Klatchko, so he failed two tests for roids but staff didn't want to come out with it? As far as Moore improving as a player goes I'll believe it if he goes to Florida, not if he goes to a team that went 5-7 in the Big Least. I do think a fair amount of this is about the fiance, speaking of her I don't understand tying yourself down that young in a long distance relationship. If he didn't do that and put a little effort into socializing I really doubt he'd be hurting for company. Might have enjoyed his time here more.
Apparently he (Klachko) was on roids and he was trying to get others on the team involved, and it was the actual players that helped run him out of town. I only bring this here because it gets really old reading about everyone blaming the coaching staff when they have no clue what is going on. This is second hand knowledge but ive heard it from a couple reliable sources who have been known to be right.

Im trying to get ahold of a family member to get some first hand knowledge to see what the word around the locker room is on Moore. The last thing we need is the players, mainly oline doubting their coaches. Make no mistake we have guys that are hungry that want to be here, itching to step up. Just like an injury guys are going to have to step up. Well have to address this NOW and get a Juco tackle in here, because while the Moore thing really hurts this year, it kills our depth the next 2.

Cotton is not that bad, is he elite... no, but hes not terrible. We have a walk on in Long that is picked to be All Big 10. We have a guy in Choi that barely knew what a football was until a Junior is HS, come in and do very very well...someones teaching these guys something. We were 16th in rush offense when everyone and their dog knew we were going to run. We have more depth on the O line then anyone in the Big 10, at least body wise, not experience wise. The optimist in me says we are going to be ok, its just really hard to say that this time. Qvale and Arod better be able to step up or we are going to be hurting. Thankfully Qvale is healthy for the first time in a long time and he is looking good, and arod is doing well. Sterups going to get thrown in the 2 deep i would assume, and he certainly has the size to play.

We will see where Moore ends up. If he goes to USF like some are thinking, then we have a pretty good idea what the main factor was here. If he goes to Florida, atleast hes doing it for coaching. For his sake i hope he goes to Florida, following a woman around like a puppy is big trouble when she up and leaves your a$$. Ive also heard he never really had a GF before this one so hes hook line and sinkerd on her big time.

Nice post.

The internet rumor is that Klachko's muscles weren't just from lifting weights.

Come on people, this isn't hard to figure out. The girlfriend is the true issue here. Unfortunately, if he sticks with her, I doubt he'll ever wear a Nebraska uniform again.

I still don't understand why I keep opening this thread. Nothing productive is ever in it, and it's not worth my time or anybody else's on this board to read... *sigh*
Because you, like me, are looking for any shred of a conversation to help pass the unyielding boredom stretching from now to September 1st.
I'm still hoping for pics of the girlfriend
Frankly, I'm not sure why he's going back for her...

Unibrow, what looks like a boil, yellow teeth, and a chipped tooth. Er...mah...gerd.

I do not know whether the roids story is true or not, but it seems to me if you have a history of it and are kicked off a team for it, you should not have the ability to just transfer to another school, see honey badger. What lessons are being learned by it. It is like saying you robbed a gas station in Nebraska, your punishment is you have to move to Arkansas.

No wonder these kids learn nothing from past wrong doings, no repercussions for doing something wrong. They are football players, they just move to the next team.

Kids deserve second chances no question, but my guess is, like the badger, he had several second chances at Nebraska.

I hope he cleans up his act, but not going to wish him luck. He let the team down no question.
