  • Georgia’s got better QB’s sitting on their bench.  On a bright note this likely knocks having two SEC teams in the playoff.

I don’t think Stetson Bennett IV would crack the top three QBs at Nebraska. So, yeah...

    F these rioters

Again this is a flat out wrong and misguided comparison. Jesus turned over the tables of robbers who had bad intentions taking over areas of the temple.  Like “get out of here, stop using the temple for your illegal business”. The rioters are not only destroying property but even hurting innocents that had nothing to do with  what happened in Minneapolis. The innocents are just operating their lawful business and rioters beat them up, steal their store goods, and set the place on fire. This is the exact opposite of Jesus.

Flipping over the tables and driving out deceitful “merchants” as you call them is equal to an innocent business person getting beat up and store looted? Jesus had a clear purpose to clear the temple that was being misused. The rioters are indiscriminately causing destruction. I applaud peaceful protestors now calling these rioters out saying what the hell are you doing?  They are right.

Your argument is well Jesus got mad and stirred things up so the rioters can too. Parallels, eh?  So can a suicide bomber or school shooter say I have been wronged so I’ll just stir things up?

Jesus would care about the injustice to George Floyd but you imply he wouldn’t care about the injustices to these other people?  As you said, you don’t know Jesus.

"Perception is everything and for those of us that do not challenge it fail not only ourselves, but our society." This is precisely why I had to stand against your inaccurate perception of Jesus.  I don't post on here about things other than football, but your initial post trying to equate Jesus to the rioters (as if He'd be right there with them) demanded the truth.

So much for social distancing. I wait 30 minutes to go inside a Home Depot but a mob of people can go in and bust up a Target. Sheesh.

It's interesting anyone ever thought bottlenecking the entire population into a few big box stores was a good strategy to keep the population apart.

    Aranda > Venables

Aranda didn’t have to play LSU’s offense. The difference is Clemson will be back here next year and Clemson will be better on D next year. LSU will be neither.

It was funny catching back up on my Twitter feed later in the game.  In the first quarter there were all kinds of tweets about how Clemson was completely out-coaching LSU.

Didn’t watch Ravens much this year but I had no idea they were Lamar Jackson or bust. Reminds me of college when he’d dominant mediocre teams but then get shutdown against strong teams. Where is the Ravens defense and running game that I have always known as their calling card?

The whole team got trashed tonight. WRs didn’t help either

A lot of dropped passes. It’s not a rule nor an exception, but just an instance of when a bye team looks rusty against a team currently with the most momentum in the game.

Texans/Chiefs should load the box all game long and not let Henry get going, force Tannehill to beat them with his arm (he can’t).

The Ravens didn’t have a strong D this year until late in the season. Their running game was hampered against the Titans because Mark Ingram re-injured his calf.  The Ravens also panicked a bit and got away from running the ball when they fell down 14-0. Jackson played ok, but not great, and didn’t get much help from his WR’s. Unfortunately two things which helped the Ravens all season (low turnovers, converting 4th downs to extend drives) burned them against the Titans. The Ravens moved the ball well, but couldn’t come up with key plays in the red zone. People put the blame on Lamar, but they shouldn’t.

    Nice overreaction Mississippi State!

From my understanding he was a Mike Riley and was only going to make the program worse. Wouldn't make players practice, no discipline for an in game fight or just in general. It will be interesting to see who they can land though

Jason Garrett out at Dallas.  Rumorville?  Lincoln Riley?  Urb?

I can't imagine Urban coaching again with his totally legitimate health concerns.

These guys get so rich today that it has to be hard to get them to come back to coach because the money part is not a big deal for them.

I can see Lincoln Riley leaving, just because I wonder if he is starting to think that he can't get over the hump.

Michigan sucks. Who can we steal? Time for Harbaugh to go back to the NFL?

They hung tough for about three quarters.  But they still suck. Because ... Michigan.

Pete Carroll is awful and overrated.  Yeah I said it.

Who got him the great roster at USC? Who hired his assistants?

@Xmas32 7-1 on the road vs 4-4 at home, or 5-3 if they had won, their playoff success doesn’t hinge on that game last night. Russell needs his TEs back and need to sign a legit WR1, get a healthy RB and that offense shouldn’t struggle in the red zone. Very limited offense with 22 seconds left, no timeouts, no red zone targets, and a defensive holding call that was swallowed.

Ironically Ed Orgeron was at USC prior to Carroll and was the recruiting coordinator.  So ED O and $$$ (see R. Bush) were a great part of his success.

Time to hit SoCal recruiting hard! I can’t recall when so many were down on both USC and UCLA at the same time.

The 80s and 90s, and 2010’s weren’t all that great for USC, and UCLA has always been more of a “name” than actual results.

Amazed that USC tailback U doesn’t even run it anymore as they have gone full air raid.  They are more like Wazzou and Texas Tech and less like Oregon, Washington, Utah, Stanford, and even OU.  Sure they’ll have some good QB’s and WR’s but I don’t see them winning anything of significance anytime soon.
