    This is Donovan's Pub in Queens NYC.  Today!  Last year standing room only.  The Coronavirus is killing restaurants and bars.

    Sucks.  Buddy owns a bar and it is tough times for them.  The only things recession proof is usually bars, education, and medical.  I guess pandemics is a whole other ball game.

    I'm thinking it might be a good time to open a bar in a couple months or so: Cheap labor to help build out the space right now while everyone else is closed; Plenty of bar tenders and waitresses looking for work; Quite a few establishments are going belly up due to being closed for so long.  (Is is evil that I think this way??  lol)

    Usually, I get pissed when I see the new phonebooks in front of my front door..But my parents used to tell stories about using corn cobs, pine cones, and Sears catalogues (except the bra section) during the Depression..

    I'm doing outdoor activities all year round,  I keep a emergency bag of supplies, toilet paper included in my truck, boats,  on the atv and snowmobile, but in a pinch in summer, button weed is ideal,fall winter and early spring is when I come home missing a sock.

    Khalil clocks a 4.76.  Fasted 40 time since 2003 for player over 300 lbs.  Brother Carlos clocks 4.82.  Both all time top ten times for players over 300 lbs.

    I saw a few minutes of this Saturday. Daniels was closely followed by one of the Davis twins.  The announcer made the statement " Nebraska has 3 DLmen at the combine and they still couldn't stop anyone."

    Heh, it might've had something to do with the guys standing right behind them.   The operative word there is "standing".

    I wish they'd release the results of winter conditioning and testing.  IIRC they were still doing that up through the Callahan years.

    I've heard 84HuskerLaw has access to all results of Husker conditioning.  I'm not saying everyone should send him a PM asking for them but I'm also not saying everyone should send him a PM asking for them.

    Not high expectations.  But not dead last either.  (Actually NW is behind us in the conf. standings.  Their only win was us.)

    Does the National Do Not Call Registry work?  I've been reporting calls for a year and a half now and it seems like I get just as many junk calls as ever.

    So, the short answer is no, the DNC registry does not work. I would encourage my legislators to make telemarketing a capital offense punishable by death to any and all who work for that telemarketing company. And then we can start on the television advertisers who exceed the sound level limits they are supposed to comply with.

    Dude, that volume level one is honestly the biggest issue with this country today.

    That and the "soap opera" effect that TV's have.

    Not for long. Mahomes gonna  get paid and some of those pieces will start to disappear.  We will see if he is an all time great when he has to play over his salary to overcome roster deficiencies. Right now they probably have one of the most talented rosters in the NFL.
