    I've been a big fan of Tenacious D since they were on Mr. Show with Bob & David, before they even had their own show.

    That being said, I couldn't bring myself to go to the show.  I'm just not big on concerts in my old age.  I'd rather listen to music with headphones by myself.

    Part of me has regrets, but I know I would have just been miserable the whole time.

    It was incredible.  The place was packed to the brim.  The seating was fantastic.  Couldn't be happier I went.

    Re-Reading "Death to the BCS" in prep for the upcoming season.  Chapter 4,  Bowl Payouts.  It's absolutely baffling to me how blatant crime like this happens and rarely does anyone ever pay the price.

    Anyone who ever argues the Universities make so much money off participating in bowl games is completely clueless

    I think most people are aware that the universities don't make money on the lower tier bowls, but I don't think a lot of people know that many schools actually end up paying to go bowling.

    I actually doubt many people realize that it's either a wash or a loss.  Every year I see the argument of all the great money universities and cities make from bowls when the opposite is true.

    A couple of credit cards that had 0%APR for 15 months and that's coming to an end soon so either bundle up or transfer to another card.  Then a couple vehicle loans.

    Unless you are paying outrageous interest rates on your vehicle loan, I don't think it would be a good idea to finance a vehicle over 15-30 years, which you would be doing in a mortgage loan.

    Yeah, I wouldn't finance a vehicle for more than 4 or 5 years. Now if you can pay off the vehicle using the equity from your home and increase your mortgage, it might be okay depending on the amounts and interest rates involved. But you sure don't want a vehicle tied up with a mortgage for 15-30. Not even sure if that's possible ...
