    Just saw a replay of that fake PAT. Holy smokes they HAD us. And it would have been good but for the wind catching what would almost certainly have been a scoring throw. We are VERY lucky. We have a W now, that's all that matters, but that W should be Iowa State's today. A clap for the broken-hearted Clone fans who really deserved another upset of NU.

    yeah. it looked like we had prince, hagg, and gomes looking for it, but still. they could have ran an option pass or something a little more elaborate.

    They did have us. That was a W for ISU, the holder just threw the ball too softly.

    Turns out the choice to go into the wind was a mistake made by the team captains (second such in two weeks) and for the second straight week, that mistake turned out to benefit us.

    If it should have happened it would have, comngrats to ISU for having the balls to call that but either way our guy stepped up and made a play to stop it.

    My plan didn't work. ESPN3 had the replay blacked out still just now so I couldn't watch it, and they also had spoilers on the side. Well - I'll have to wait for the replay. Bummer we lost, can't say I'm wholly surprised. Good to be back.

    GF visiting for one day on the 16th. Uh oh, did not even think about the timing at all. Should I wait for the game to be completely over and stay away from the internet until the ESPN3 replay is up? Good thing nobody else around cares about football.

    Get out of town. Do you guys drink? If so, take her to a vineyard for the day. Pack a picnic lunch too. That way you avoid other people, get a road trip, and are drinking/eating to get your mind off the game. And have your friend with the best poker face tape the game and swear not to tell you the outcome when you get back to watch it.
