    Iowa's Rival's recruiting ranking starting with last year first ...  43, 40, 58, 59, 53.  I think I want to look a lot more like Iowa.  #CoachingMatters

    They do look like a solid well coached team that gets a lot out of the talent they have.  Probably the biggest knock of Ferentz was that he used to get too conservative with the offense play calling.

    Heard a player on the radio say "all our goals are still in front of us".  Geez, makes me wonder expectations, goals and standards are set by the top.

    Well chemistry, rhythm, fine tuning your game plan to strengths would come to mind.

    In the end, a kid attempted to make a mature, positive comment after what they probably obviously know was a terrible loss. Quit over analyzing the words and accept his point that they aren't giving up on the season before conference play even begins.

    ^that's true too.  They have to find a way to keep going.  I think we can be desensitized to the emotional fragility of our players.

    Good points guys.  Hey, I hope none of you give up on the season.  We are on pace to hit a 7-5 season.  Still very attainable.

    I lost my 25 year marriage 6 months ago ... it's all my fault.  This season can't hurt my emotions at all.  Losing the love of your life and your boys ... man, I'm just trying to stay alive.  If you don't hear from me in a while ... ya, you'll know I didn't make it.  I'm not making a threat ... just being real.  #Pain
