My guess is that it will be on ESPN+ since it's in Lawrence.

(in loving memory of the GOAT - John Candy)

Question for the fathers of HB. When your kid graduated high school, did you buy your wife a present? And if so I’d love some suggestions.

Sounds like another stupid idea.  Who is supposed to buy sweats for whom?

You buy sweets for your sweet lol. It's pretty regional around the Great Lakes

Just shoot me if my wife starts expecting this too.

Don’t frequent the board as much as I used to. If this has been discussed and answered, my apologies. Any word on the Ireland game? If it’s still a go or if it’s up in the air.

I didn't even know Ireland had a team...

No word on cancellation just yet, but that's so far out in the future I doubt they'll announce anything for a while.

Also, you should post more. Where've you been?

I read an article on The Athletic that the game in Ireland is UNLIKELY to happen in 2021.  The timing isn't right for the game to happen this year.

Anyone have the combined 2019 record of the 2020 Husker football opponents?

97-60 is what I came up with. 70-46 if you take out our non-conference games

I read somewhere this week we were (before the BIG 10 decision) playing the 6th most difficult schedule in the nation.

Apologies if it’s been discussed but does anyone know where the Husker pep rally/related activities would be in Boulder the Friday nite before the game? Assuming there will be something that is.

Had a buddy who lives near Boulder tell me he wouldn’t be surprised at a minimum of 40/60 split Husker/Buffs fan at the game. All his friends have been selling their tickets to Husker fans at 2-3x value. Anyone hearing the same?

Might just wait until game time and find the bro-iest buff at the tailgate who will trade for tix for a small bag of weed or mushies

40/60 sounds about right. It's usually about 30/70 but everything I've been hearing is CU's gonna suck and the home folks are eager to dump their Tix.

I think it'll be similar to the Wyoming game. Except Nebraska fans care more about Colorado

Anyone know when to expect the Colorado kickoff time to be announced?

Based on past seasons, I would look for that kind of info at the end of this month to the first part of June.

It will probably depend which TV partner wants to pick up the game and their available time slots.  There are very few big games that weekend.  Looking at the week 2 schedule, I only see BYU-Tennessee and USC- Stanford being somewhat marquee games that day.  My guess is that FOX may try a double header with USC-Stanford and NU/CU, especially with their main analyst, Joel Klatt, being a CU alum.

Anyone with help on when to expect some tv times to be announced for football?

Usually it's right around Memorial day. Because of the new TV contract, it's a little more convoluted than years past. Last year it was on May 31st, so I'd expect it around then.

Ask Brian Rosenthal on Twitter, he loves those kinds of questions.
