Oh dammit to hell, enough with this "which game will mean more" s#!t. Which game will mean more? If we show up in the gotdamn Big Ten championship. That game. You know what'll mean more than that? If we show up in the damn playoffs, or the damn natty game. I'm not looking at no one gotdamn win anymore because that s#!t doesn't mean a damn thing on how successful your season will be. Don't you sit up here and LET a damn win over Purdue in week one make you think we're all of the sudden guaranteed to make a damn bowl game just because we'd have beaten a team that barely broke .500 the past few seasons even under Jeff Brohm that also went 4-8 just last season.
One game don't define no damn season. One game isn't gone tell you the whole story. Sometimes your a$$ just either got lucky or on the flip side came up short that night. Sometimes the opposing team was a lot better than expected. Sometimes you can lose to a gotdamn "Georgia State" but then still go on to whoop a South Carolina team by 20+ points that beat UGA at their house, or Indiana's best team in 20 years in a bowl game, etc. Sometimes you can beat a playoff calibur MSU team that also beat Ohio State, but then you still go 6-7. I'm not looking at no one gotdamn win. Naw aaaauuun. That s#!t will have you thinking one thing but then your season ends up being the gotdamn other. I'm not falling for it. The game I'm paying attention to that'll define if we've somehow "turned the corner" will be determined by which gotdamn post-season game we show up in.
.... Which game will mean more to us..... the title of this thread says..... Pfffffttt - swipes hands down at that -
I'm not falling for that.
