What you're missing is that NU can't afford another ex staff on payroll.

NU can't win in a bidding war with insert one of these: (OSU, Alabama, LSU, top tier coaches etc).

Even if we did manage to win, would Saban abandon what he has for a box of issues here?

Why argue we can fix the problem by throwing huge money at someone and then be settled on a very average Richt as your top choice?

Uh-oh, here comes the posse. The fact that you name-dropped Saban just indicates that you've never read my posts. I've already made it clear that Saban, Meyer, and Harbaugh aren't going anywhere.

I've made it very clear where I stand on Riley; that's no secret. There's nothing to "pick" up on. I've said from the day he was hired that he was a bad hire. However, I've also made it clear that he should at least be given some time to see what he can do, and that the play and growth of POB under his tutelage will likely be what makes or breaks him.

The reason i mentioned Richt, as many of my previous posts have made clear, is that many Bulldog fans are unhappy with him and want a change. I stated that he MIGHT be willing to make a jump to the B1G, where the road to the playoff would likely be much easier than it is in the SEC. The difference between you and me is that I don't consider Richt to be average; I consider him to be one of the best, as well as a logical choice, for the aforementioned reasons.

Living in SEC country has absolutely zero to do with judging a recruiting class. Like I said earlier, I knew it was just a matter of time before you played the SEC card. I leave the recruiting rankings up to the expects, and our class is currently ranked in the 30s/40s for a reason.

I don't think my opinion is always right, but I will defend it. For the record, you are the one who likes tor bring up thefact you live in SEC country. Your judgement of this recruiting class is irrelevant until it actually is in the books for judging. Until then just sit back and chill the f#*k out with this "WE CANT RECRUIT RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE" bullsh#t. If we finish outside the top 25 go ahead and b!^@h and moan.
