2016 Alternate Uniforms

Wondering if our alternates this year are going to focus more on the cream color. Looks like they have a couple of the new polos available in cream:

Our alternates were unveiled on July 23rd last year. Anyone know if this year's will be around the same time?

I would guess about the same.

Speaking of uniforms in general - will be interesting to see Michigan's new Jordan brand uniforms and gear.

I've always kind of wanted to see another throwback uniform; maybe go with an early 70's vibe; white helmet with a grey facemask and numbers on the sides, with stripes going up and down the shoulders, as opposed to on the sides.

I still want something like this. It's a pretty terrible photoshop job -- but a pearl tri coat white helmet w/ grey facemask and somewhat chrome decals. Then 1971 style varsity stripes and clean white pants. Throw in some black in there for good measure -- essentially do what Ohio State did for a few years -- modernize a classic look.

NU needs to do this. Imagine the recruiting edge when NU has a team of 120 (hey we do walk-ons at NU) young ladies like this for the men's team to XXXXX be fans of.

nope. UCLA hired a 3rd party to tell Adidas how to do things and fix the uniform

I would imagine if there was going to be an announcement this week, it has been delayed due to the Foltz passing. It's probably not the right time for all the kids to be freaking out over sweet alternate uni's.

the alternate jersey was supposed to be unveiled last week but wasn't given the circumstances.

I wonder if today would be a possibility as its about the fans and they usually have the jersey displayed at fan day....
