***2016 Recruiting***

This is either gonna be one of the worst/best end to a recruiting cycle we've seen in a long time.

Kind of what I was thinking. We are definitely in on some pretty good targets. If we snag a few, it will make a pretty good class. If we miss on most, we'll be scrambling pretty hard.

Not sure I agree.
We are not going to miss out on all of our top targets remaining. It's just a matter of how many we get.

I don't see our average player rating getting below what we have had the last few years.

While I would love improvement from that, those classes weren't bad when compared to other years.

I will say that I expect a real roller coaster ride the next few weeks though on this board.

We can currently sign 8 guys in addition to the 15 commits we have. If even a couple more leave, we could have 10+ spots yet to fill. Will be interesting to see how this shakes out.

So, on Monday we should know who is not with the program anymore.

That's how I read it. There may still be a couple more that leave after they see where they it in Spring Ball but I think the "up to five" will be known early next week.

BTW....my comments were more about the possibility of this being the worst end to recruiting seen in a long time.

I am quite surprised at the target number of DL recruits as being only 2, and it looks like they want to take 1 DE and 1 DT. I get the want for a JUCO DE, but I thought the number at DE would be 2 total (1 HS and 1 JUCO) and then try and get 1 DT for a total of 3.
