I think we land 1/3. Jackson says yes, Fitz chooses the Ville, and Simmons chooses Clemson.

A little disappointing but this is what i believe will happen as well. Still would be super stoked to get Jackson but I really want Simmons too.

If that happens, we end up probably around 23rd. A bigger issue is that we would probably not use 3 spots we could have signed a recruit to. However, those are the 3 over signings we are allowed. It's not like we would be leaving unused scholarships on the table on Signing day.

I'm curious to see if the coaching staff will pursue the Limpscomb kid from NOLA if Fitzpatrick commits to L'ville. Wasn't he a backup plan?

Would be a tough pull since he has never visited (that I know of).

The coaches literally can't pursue anyone. It's a recruiting dead period. We're dead in the water now.

Well, not exactly. No face-to-face contact but there can still be phone calls and electronic messages.
