2017 Alternate Uniforms

It has to be for only one game surely. But Adidas does make some horrible decisions so who knows.

I think they will definitely be '97 Throwbacks with the numbers having the white mesh style to them.

If that's the case, I'm all for it.

The tweet says "Huskers have a new look."

To me that implies we will habitually look different. Along with the fact that the uniforms in the video look completely normal other than the mesh it seems like they are showing us new regular uniforms. Could be cool, could be bad. Eager to see what this is about!

They have to have a more drastically different alternate as they also make them to sell and mesh numbers really won't move merchandise. The mesh numbers for 97 team would be in line with the UCLA basketball jerseys from 07 with the gold "C" for 100-championships.

I'm afraid it's going to look god awful! Just taking a mesh number and sewing on a jersey that isn't mesh is going to be pretty underwhelming imo

Also looks like the adidas and BIG logos will flip-flop from recent years and more closely match what we saw in 97, with the conference logo at the neck (right above number) and adidas logo on the right shoulder.

might make it look better, but the only way it'll look good is if the whole jersey is mesh

I'll bet they're the jerseys for the season, and we won't have an alternate. Why would we need to?

Put a '97 championship commemorative patch on there and they'll sell like hot cakes.
