2017 Husker WR Class Ranked #3 in the Nation

I'd actually say this is pretty accurate. We were one of 4 teams to have 3 commits in the top 50. Alabama and Michigan both had four, Georgia was the other team with 3 though their top commit was a little lower down they could have the better top 2 (18,22,47) compared to us (7,41,49) I'm guessing Tyjon is clearly the big difference but I would say that is the only team that could make an argument they should be on this list.

This season, all I want to see is our QB make good decisions and distribute the football. Play smart, play within the scheme, and for the love peanut butter and jelly, dump the ball to the outlet RB or TE. A pass for 2-3 yards is still better than a 40 yard yolo bomb into double coverage.

I think our screen game will improve dramatically. TA couldn't run a traditional screen play to save his life. Lee completed quite a few of them at Tulane. This should help in 3rd down situations so the D line can't just pin their ears back if they know it's a good part of our game plan. I think Langs started calling more of them toward the end of the year but some of them just looked terrible

Think if we could somehow pull in Badet as a grad transfer. If you put a little bit more experience and some sure hands to go to, it'd go up I think. I know the grad transfer wouldn't count towards this class, but he'd be a new person coming in.

Probably #1 if Calvin doesn't flake on us eh?
no. Alabama had 4 of the top 12 WR. We might slip in at #2 but I think they would still give the nod to Michigan because of DPJ, though we would have been a lot more compareable to them with Jamire on board
Edit: Yes Jamire would have given us #7, #41, #44, #48 on the WR board..Michigan had the #1, #17, #23, #28 WR. Got a few big body guys it was a great class for them, I think it would have taken Lewis and Calvin to jump them.

This.

My only small critique is that all 3 of these guys are under 6', eh? Makes it harder to "climb the ladder" over DBs.

Other than that, looks like a great group, maybe best ever.
