Saw on 247 Chester Graves has no offer and I am thinking why not? 500 mile radius kid who is three hours away in a big city and he has talent. He is rated highly by the services and it would not be reaching as it doesn't seem he has a clear leader. With the need for immediate playing time, this kid could fit the bill and give us depth at this position.
Do we feel he won't fit our defense or do we have other reasons as to why we aren't going after him hard.

Rivals says he has an offer, so if he does, the question is why have we not pushed an ov or uv for January?

Andrew Ward apparently has grade issues as well form what I have heard. We are one of the best in academic support for athletes in the nation, so he should be fine. Unless he of course has too low of an ACT score or does not have the minimum gpa for the university, then we should move on like you said. But I have not seen that confirmed, I have just seen it speculated in his thread, I could be wrong though.

 
Do we have a recruiting thread about Nick? I think he has a great chance of being N and I haven't found a forum on him. Although, it could just be me not looking very well....

No we don't - typically only make one after an offer... which, after looking around, doesn't look like he has? Rivals lists one but 247 does not.

Mav, it's the same as Trump winning over Clinton. Media has perception that's incorrect because people(voters)(recruits in this scenario) aren't showing their cards or telling the whole truth.

Sometimes recruits want their decision to be a surprise to America.

Kind of. Some obviously do. But it's pretty rare for them to miss this badly. It happens but not much.

As it stands now, this would be equal to Nebraska landing Sarell, Filiaga, Lewis, D Holmes, D Lenoir. We have 0 crystal balls for those guys right now. Just letting everyone know the apparent expectation.

 
I hope that the "disappointment" that gets expressed when those guys commitment doesn't overshadow those that do commit to Nebraska. We need to celebrate those who do choose to come here, instead of b$tching about those who don't.
