And the field is beautiful (Dr.Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, TX). Old school in style, but contemporary. And a great atmosphere.

couldn't believe when read the pitching rotation for this weekend, 1. Waldron 2. Tillotson-Colorado Player of the year last year 3. BEN FLIPPING MILLER!!!!!!! 4. Jake Meyers.

1-2 and 4 are understandable but you're telling me BEN MILLER is one of the four best we have got!!!!

youre telling me any of Burkamper, Mcsteen, Engelken, or Eddins. NONE of them are better or have improved enough to pass up BEN MILLER!!!

maybe I'm blowing this way out of proportion, but my lord i feel like we have to have better than this.

It will be fine. Erstad said it would be like 3 innings, basically by committee. Burkamper is still working his way back from shoulder soreness.

“We’re not going to go and throw a guy 100 pitches,” Erstad said. “Everybody isn’t built up like how they’re going to be in a few weeks, and guys like Nate Fisher, Jake McSteen and Luis Alvarado — guys who are either coming off an injury or haven’t pitched at all — they’re one-time-a-weekend guys, so they’ll be in that 45-50-pitch range.”

Burkamper, McSteen, Fisher are all coming off injury, no need to push the envelope. And it's a 4 game series. Like as was already stated, he is just the first guy that'll be out there in a full bullpen rotation day. Have some faith.

The rotation in the middle/end of the year will look a lot different than it does right now. I agree with you in that there is no reason to push a guy coming off an injury. SeaofRed needs to step off the ledge.
