New coach at Pitt, closer to home might come into play now?  Plus...I would imagine at Pitt, since they have no players left, that this guy is a starter from day 1

True, but why be a starter on a team that is going to be horrible when you can get immediate playing time on a decent team and likely start as a sophomore.

 
Honestly, this isn't really much of a loss.  This kid is ranked where he is ranked for a reason.  He looks somewhat "coveted" at the moment because it is late in the second signing period.  

 
Close to McGowens but we probably have a glut at guard next year and I doubt we'd be attractive. He'd help immensely though, kid is an absolute player.

 
Pitt loses their #2 and #3 scorer within a few days....
