Bamba could be the best player in the draft long term but Doncic to Dallas is a great fit and Luka could definitely be the best prospect in the draft right now and long term. That is not for certain, but in Dallas I think his chances of success go up a bit than if he had gone to some other franchises.
Agreed, but the one and done will be gone in a few years, Mavs already have Dennis Smith Jr and zero frontcourt. A future first round pick is a hefty price for another guard. From what I've seen, Doncic handles the ball a lot, Dennis Smith is the point guard. They struck gold with Dirk 20 years ago, there have been a decent amount of wtfs since then. We'll see. I think it's good for Doncic. I wonder if Carlyle had a preference.
