*** 2020 Recruiting ***

Wait wait, what

Of the 16 seniors next season, you think we'll only miss 4? Are you crazy or did I misunderstand?

Mills, Stoll, Spielman, Jaimes, Farniok, Stille, Domann, Miller, Honas, Dismuke, Bootle. Maybe you nitpick a few here or there, but that's my list and I got 11. How do you get 4?
Spielman, Mills, Stille, Domann. I would also toss in Stoll even though he is our second option at TE next year imo. None of the others have impressed me to this point. Not every player on the team is good otherwise we would look a ton better on the field.

I'd probably throw out Mills, Miller and Honas as replaceable but add Deontai Williams so I'd be at 9.

I agree. When you go 4-8 or 5-7 like 3 years in a row. Players moving on from those teams and filling with new blood is a good thing.

I would agree with Miller/Honas if I had seen anyone else play there. I'm high on Henrich/Hannah/Reimer, but not having seen them makes it hard to assume they won't be missed.

All indications lead us to believe this class will all make it to campus. Worries are Manning and Betts.

Kids who are rated on our commit list, but never made it to campus.

2019- Desmond Bland 4 star

2018- Willie Canty, Dominick  Watt

Frost has given the go-ahead to Betts to sign on Friday.  That means the staff and Betts are confident he will qualify academically.

Did recruiting standards go up when NU joined the Big 10? Just curious.
I don’t think the entrance/acceptance standards changed, but I’m not 100% sure. I think the Big Ten has the same overall standards as the Big 12 does.  Some conferences will have different specific rules, but the broad acceptance standards are generally the same across FBS. If someone has different info, please share them.

They did not go up...NW and Michigan have different ones, because NW is an amazing school that is probably on par with a few IVY leage schools...and Michigan...well they think they are the Harvard of the midwest while everyone else just thinks that they are a big state school.
