*** 2020 Recruiting ***

Nebraska had 10 4* commits. The rest of the B10 West had 14 combined...

We are getting higher end players but we did fill in a lot of spots with really low rated players (mostly jucos) where they had stronger 3* I feel the gap was wider this year for us but didn't translate in the ratings.

Most of the services also count Aho/Gifford on our list. That hurts our average a lot. Take those two off and we actually blow the rest out of the water. Aho isn’t gonna sign & Gifford is coming in as a blue shirt.

One interesting thing is our average recruit ranking last year is actually slightly higher. We took a lot more higher rated 3 stars and got less 4 stars overall. This class had a lot more four stars but the three stars are a lot lower rated.

It'll be interesting to see how the final rankings fall for players and what that does to our average ranking and overall rank. I think we have a variety of guys who could still see some good bumps in the rankings.

It’s going to be really interesting to see how much Payne & Riley play. We need a sure nose tackle & a solid #2 DE.
