Michigan had an amazing opening weekend. Beat two top 10 squads in Vandy and ASU. Opening the season like a team that should be back in the CWS hunt.

Yeah Michigan is going to be a really tough out this year despite the losses they took. I caught a few innings of that UM/Vandy game and everyone looked pretty sharp despite it being so early in the year.

Not that this should really be front of mind right now, at all...
But you wonder how this affects the seniors on the team. The season has been cancelled until further notice. Lots of good guys have poured dedication and hard work into this team. Lots of good players: Mojo, Roskam, Stroh, Roseberry, Acker, Klenke & Foster.
You gotta figure the NCAA is going to grant another year of eligibility across the board. This is unprecedented and it's not fair to those guys to boot them out of the program for something like this that is completely out of their control.

Maybe in May they can reevaluate how things are going. If it's good to go do a bunch of tournaments or perhaps have a summer season this year.
