2021 Husker Football Schedule

I have believed that we would find a way to get to 4-8 again this season ... we are "improving" in every way.  Ha ha.  At least we can be grateful that somewhere in the world this makes someone happy.

 
Ok, so we swapped out the SELA game in November for an FCS opponent early in season. This seems okay: we have a chance to start 3-0 and work out some hiccups before the OU game, and get another home game and recruiting visits when the weather is warm and we all still have hope for the season. Plus now we have two bye weeks late in the season. Not bad.

Yes, ultimately, that's all the good reasons to do this.  But....Fordham?  At least they had a winning record this year.

There is a world where 2-10 seems like a real possibility for this program. Illinois beat us up last year. Oklahoma and then Michigan State, also on the road. Northwestern is a home game, but give us fits every year. And then the last six.... we could go 0-for-6 and not be real surprised. Some days, I am glad we aren't anywhere near fall yet. It's just too depressing to think about it.

 
This year is simple...

JUST GET BETTER

6-6 with a bowl game is improvement.  Fordam?  I know they wanted a game for Sept. 4th weekend.  I am fine with it.  Buffalo and Oklahoma is tough enough for the state of our program.
