** 2021 Opponent Previews : @ Michigan State (Game 5) **

Two things that concern me about this game.

a) They are going to stunt all game and our O line has to pick it up better.

b) Their running back.

If we can do well in those two areas, and they play as well as they did last week, I like our chances.

How embarrassing for Coach Tucker and Colorado. No wonder he feels the way he does. Wish I would have went to that one- too many bad experiences in Boulder to ever go again- who would have guessed hippies cared enough about football to hassle opposing fans? They used to anyways.

Who would have guessed playing Northwestern would be the common factor in the top 2? Most of Durant's came against Charlotte, but he had a chunk against NW too. And a lot of Walker's yards came against NW.

Not to take anything away from them, Walker in particular looks like on of the best backs in the country. Just crazy - I expected NW to have problems this year, but not quite like this.

Lost a really good DC. Good long term success is built around very good coaches.

They lost some good players on that side of the ball as well

Northwestern looked terrible in that MSU game. And I mean even worse than the worst we’ve ever seen of the Huskers. Offense, defense, both craptastic.  I can believe they are the common denominator for RBs leading the country. If we lose to NW this year I am burning all my N gear, seriously.

Wonder if he's also telling them not to celebrate big plays. Announcers have made comments in the couple games I've watched that he gets mad at his players for celebrating too much

This is obviously pretty intangible but I'm pretty sure we'll have to score at least 28 points to win this game.

A strong first drive to boost the entire offense's confidence will do wonders to accomplish this.
