Kopps is a weird case. He's 24. He is a relief pitcher. One season of elite production. Honestly top 100 for a guy that will be a relief pitcher from day 1 is pretty impressive. All the other college arms before him will have the versatility to start and if needed be switched to a Relief arm.

The baseball draft is a bit weird because of bonus slotting and the amount of rounds so you definitely see more interesting things. Heck, look at the Royals first round pick, it's some kid out of CT that wasn't projected anywhere near the 1st round. They took him so they could spend up elsewhere.
