2022 SF Isaac Traudt [Virginia Commit]

It remains very frustrating that Fred can't get top Nebraska talent interested in coming to Lincoln....meanwhile, he can pull in very good talent from other parts of the country.  This isn't a case of "Omaha kids don't care about Nebraska". This kid is from Central Nebraska.

I really wanted Traudt, but....oh well.....good luck to him.  REALLY hope we can pull in Omaha Billiew.

Yeah, word is it's likely Virginia with NU finishing third behind Creighton.  His girlfriend apparently attends Creighton.

Supposedly Virginia said he has to commit this week or they're moving on.

You wouldn't think the Virginia offense is a style conducive to his play...

If it's Virginia over NU and Creighton then it's about going to play for a recent national champion and one of the top coaches in the country.

People have wanted use the "Omaha thing" on why those basketball players didn't choose NU, when it's more of a fact that NU basketball has a LONG ways to go to be anywhere close to some of the top programs in the country.

Regardless of style of play, Virginia has been able to send numerous guys to the NBA over the past 5 years.  I know Fred can do that too, but style of play at Virginia shouldn't hurt Traudt too much.

Plus, with UNC and Duke breaking in new coaches, Virginia could be poised to be top dogs in the ACC for the next few years.
