These Husker aggregation accounts need to stop.
I looked up the Brad Crawford article. It basically says "Tyler Van Dyke is a high profile transfer QB. These are the schools that probably need a portal QB". Then goes on to list 7 schools. And here is the part on Nebraska:
Nebraska projects to go transfer portal-digging for a quarterback after coming off one of its worst statistical seasons offensively in decades under a first-year coaching staff. Turnovers were an issue at the position for play-caller Marcus Satterfield, whose unit never found its rhythm and scored just 10 points in the season finale with a chance to go bowling. Van Dyke doesn't have any ties to the Big Ten or the Huskers, but there's a chance Nebraska will reach out to him. Kansas State's Will Howard might be the Huskers' top target however, sources say.

Good frame allows him to stand tall in pocket. Two-sport standout also excels as a pitcher in baseball. Smooth delivery with soft touch on deep throws. Accurate and can fit ball into tight windows. Calm demeanor. Plays in control. Slides in pocket well. Has high release point to accentuate size. Has sneaky mobility to extend plays. Needs to shorten his release. Must show arm strength to throw 15-yard out. Increasing athleticism will be helpful. Multi-year starter at Top 20 program. Projects as a mid-to-late (fifth round) NFL draft pick.

Good Lord....I only posted it because it was already said that it was discussed on 1620 and the tweet shows potential other schools that are in the mix.

I’m by no means a QB evaluator but I just wasn’t overly impressed when he was playing this year. He would definitely improve Nebraska Day 1 but we need continuity at this point.

His passing production was down this year from the previous but he's put up some big #s at Ark and he seems to be a good runner as well.
Will Rhule go after a dual threat or pro-style - that is the big question?? I prefer he find a good game manager who is primarily a passer but who can occasionally run to keep the D honest or run away from pocket pressure (don't want a wood board back there).

One thing to keep in mind if the commitments feel slow overall, only the players who've had a coaching change in the last month are actually in the portal right now. The others have announced their intention (and are undoubtedly being recruited), but won't announce a commitment until Monday at the earliest to make it clear that absolutely no tampering is going on. At all.
