I've been beating this drum as wellMay as well throw a few hundred k at Gronkowski from SDSU when he’s done with the FCS playoffs. Career 64% passer with 66 TDs and 12 INTs over 3 years as a starter.

McCord is not a 2 million guy. His suitors will not be able to pony that up. Think if that’s the case they were trying to milk us. Secure Raiola.I don’t even want to share this because, if true, it kinda pisses me off. But it is so rare that I get anything resembling inside information. According to a booster in a position to know…. McCord wanted $2M and NU wouldn’t do that. Take it for what it’s worth.
I’m going to choose to believe that it’s because Raiola wanted a legit shot at starting as frosh and McCord demanded to be penciled in as the guy. I mean from all we’ve heard, I would expect the going rate for a guy like McCord would be about $2M. I refuse to believe we are bargain shopping for a legit QB1.
We just get excited!I hope it is true about Raiola, but I figure why count the chickens before they hatch, I'll believe it if and when he commits and is signed.
I have been on this bandwagon for weeks. More than likely he will be in his 3rd NC game too. Up for the FCS version of Heisman. Just a junior, but 18 of the 22 starters are seniors. He may look to leap for his final year. Would be major upgrade from our current room, but maybe not a sure starter over DRMay as well throw a few hundred k at Gronkowski from SDSU when he’s done with the FCS playoffs. Well the good news is we will know in a week.I hope it is true about Raiola, but I figure why count the chickens before they hatch, I'll believe it if and when he commits and is signed.
Hopefully by Sunday.Well the good news is we will know in a week.
If this is what went down, good. I don’t think this is how Rhule wants to do it and I support that. Spending that kind of cash on one player seems to go against what he’s said.I don’t even want to share this because, if true, it kinda pisses me off. I would think 2M would be at the upper end for sure but considering our QB room this year, I kind of expect to get milked a little bit by any proven QB1. Of course it’s not my money but I don’t think we’re in any position to be trying to save $500k. Didn’t Rhule just say the market rate is 1-2M? Unless we are damn sure Raiola is a done deal but it would still be nice to have a seasoned guy and more time for DR to get up to speed. JMOMcCord is not a 2 million guy. $22….unscratched. :lol:What can I get for a wrinkled $20 and a couple of promising looking scratcher tickets.
Don’t know about you guys but best I can do is an expired Runza couponHow many of us gave money to the 1890 initiative Monday night?
I would say McCord is a 2 million dollar qb. He automatically makes the offense better and he can actually throw a football.McCord is not a 2 million guy. His suitors will not be able to pony that up. Think if that’s the case they were trying to milk us. Secure Raiola.
I get that it's lesser competition, but that 66:12 career td:int ratio for Granowski kinda has me drooling a bit.If this is what went down, good. I don’t think this is how Rhule wants to do it and I support that. Spending that kind of cash on one player seems to go against what he’s said.
