Well, the Oregon State game on Saturday seems like it might be the first test for this team against a P5 opponent with a pulse.

Might be against a P5 opponent, but OSU is one of the worst P5 teams (172 at Ken Pom).  Duquesne will actually be a better test the night before Thanksgiving (84 at Ken Pom).  Nebraska is currently sitting at 54 at Ken Pom.

I honestly can't figure out why they are playing this in Sioux Falls.  I could kind of see Kansas City.  But, Sioux Falls???

Sioux Falls has a relatively new (2013) arena and they try to get at least one D1 game in played in it.  Nebraska played Oklahoma State there a couple years ago.  Must be a NU vs OSU thing...

This not a home game, it's a neutral site.

The benefit is that they can have a one off game against a P5 school.  Most of the time when P5 teams play they will schedule a  home & home on back to back seasons. They get a semi-home game & no true road game.
