ESPN has the Huskers as part of the "Last 4 In" in their latest bracket (with Nevada, South Carolina & K-State).  One of seven B1G teams they have in with Michigan State in the "First 4 out".

Only a couple weeks? That isnt a huge deal. I mean, maybe misses a couple B1G games at most. Get him back by the 12th at Iowa.

Would be nice against Purdue but we need him in stretch run.

I bet they had some kind of idea and nursed it to the first "gap" they could find.  Holiday + North Dakota & South Carolina State.

Mast has made an impact this year.  Glad it wasn't serious surgery and will be back shortly we hope.

I'm guessing that he's going to redshirt this year.  He's missed too much of the season to do anything else.

What Pavelka said was that 7-10 days is the typical recovery time for the procedure.  Sounds like they are shooting for the Indiana game on January 3rd for his return.

I was just about to ask about him. Does he intend to play basketball again? Does he practice? Maybe some local sportswriter can interview him and find out what the deal is. With Mast out for a few games, we could really use some of the guys on the roster. Maybe they should bring in Prochazka or Benhart to help out?

He is on the team & not redshirting.  He is unlikely to play much in B1G play.  He needs to get much stronger.  He's tall & athletic,  but very raw.
