** 2023 Opponent Preview : Northwestern (Game 7) **

I am not sure we win against Illinois with Frost. We may even lose the Northern Illinois game as well. Frost did just as much damage to this program as Riley did.

I dunno.  If Frost's 22 Huskers would have played the 23' Illini I still think they also would have won that game.  This is easily one of the worst teams the Illini have had especially offensively in a bit.  I don't see the '22 Huskers losing to the '23 version of Northern Illinois either.

Frost's 22 team lost to Northwestern (FPI #99)  and Georgia Southern (FPI #91).

Hmm then I guess you could argue there is a 50/50 chance.

NU put up 42 points in that GA Southern game and still lost.  While this year's defense perhaps wouldn't have given up the 45 you can easily argue that this year's offense definitely has a drastically larger chance of not putting up 42.  At the end of the day I still say easily 50/50.

Fitz was such a good coach that someone could take over that disaster and get more wins than Fitz did the past two years.
I’m surprised the BTN hasn’t complimented Fitz for leaving gracefully and allowing the team to move on and have as successful season as possible this year.
