I am surprised people are projecting Illinois to get 20 points.  Nothing in the first 3 games indicates they will get more than than 13 or 14 points.

If we can get to 20 we should be good.

I am saying 31-10.

This guy Kool-Aid's!      ;)

Luke Altmeyer has 14 carries for 37 yards this year. Do we have to be worried about him scrambling on broken plays? Maybe. Last Saturday was probably a good tune-up game in that regard.

Bielema put together a good defense one year with Illinois. But I think the physicality of our team this year makes us a bad matchup for them.

Illinois is sacked 2.5 times per game, which is 90th in the country (Colorado is 3.5 and 115th).

My original point is sack yards count in his rushing statistics (I think?). But it’s nice seeing they aren’t good at protecting the QB.

I agree...NOW, I am still not sold on the Husker run game, not yet and with no QB run game, I think anything over 100 rushing yards, total, by NU in the game will have to be looked at as above average.
If, we keep winning and Raiola has more success, it will be interesting to see if defenses adjust to that and if that helps the run game.

I, for one, think our O line has looked pretty good against these three teams. Now it will be interesting to see if they keep that up against better D lines in the Big Ten.

If the weather turns out crappy as being predicted, this becomes a Donovan Raiola game instead of a Dylan one. That prospect has me nervous.

Pretty much everyone is picking NU to win this game.  There are a few that have it close, but an NU win.

Illini Totals are 16.5, interesting.
