** 2024 Opponent Preview : Colorado (Game 2) **

I watched prime’s post game. Whata freaking joke. He talked about how disrespectful CSU was bla bla bla. Everything he accused them of his team is light years worse. No accountability, victim mentality…

Such a contrast from Rhule.
I’ll just say it.  The guy is a piece of s#!t.  Same with his sons.  It was beautiful seeing karma do its thing to Shilo watching him get “rolled”.  Unfortunately guys like this are too stupid to be humbled even when they should be.

Honestly, this is a bit strong. I don’t like how he goes about his business, and love to see him fail, but I also don’t know about his actual character. Coleman had nothing but praise for him after a recruiting visit and said they still talked from time to time.

Is he irritating-absolutely! But he certainly is interesting.

I don’t think it’s a bit strong.  He’s been like that his whole career as a player.  If people show you who they are then believe them.  You can be interesting and still be a crap human being.  Also, I certainly wouldn’t want him to mold my kids.  To each their own though.

Sure, it’s not all made up. But there is little doubt CU has more than asked for any trash talk that comes their way. They’re clearly the more skilled team. Rise above it. But with Sanders’ team building skills, all they have to work with is grievances of disrespect. Pretty shallow and sad imo.

What team doesn’t talk trash before a game? Colorado has talked SO much.

That’s the thing. The hypocrisy is embarrassing and Prime is delusional.
CSU trash talked CU and then got owned. I'm not sure how that translated into CU being petty, shallow, hypocritical, or whatever. CSU was the ones who started it this week. Here's a good follow-up on it:

Colorado probably should have tried to run it more on us early. They ran it decently against CSU. By the time they were getting 4-5 yards on us, they didn’t have time in the game to run it.

I think people forget the type of person these kids grew up with.  Like or hate Sanders he is who he is.  There is nothing excusing that or how he acts but he is who he is.  And honestly, if he would of put the right people by him he could of brought in all the talent in the world and totally challenged the narrative on how this sport is built.  But because he puts a culture of individuals before team they can only be for themselves.  His team may get far on that, but its hard to win it all on talent alone.

I think we’re all satisfied with our coach- both as a man and as a coach. But regarding Deion,  here’s the thing- I don’t care. His brashness doesn’t affect my life, outside of the one week we play them. Im actually thrilled he’s at Colorado. He is the coach that the CU fan base deserves.

They are a perfect marriage. It’s fun to watch from the outside.
It's fun to watch but also tough to watch because there are good kids on both programs and coaches are making decisions like this or trash talking all week. It's one way to coach young men I guess

Seeing CU's reaction to beating CSU just makes me so, so grateful for Nebraska's curb-stomping of them the previous week.
THIS. The last 3 losses to them have been a day or two from my birthday…and to make matters worse, I lived in Colorado. This year, we got the last word and now I can watch the clown show for entertainment value.
