So, he’s crazier, has a nut job of a dad and not as good of QB. 
 

He’s going to be a mess for any team that takes him…..and he’s not going to help them win.

It wasn't excited about the pick because i thought he was just a smaller version of Justin Fields.  I don't see anything comparable between Caleb Williams and Shadeur Sanders personality wise.   Caleb needs to learn how to play behind a bad o-line just like Shadeure.

I forget where, but some talking head today said Dak got the bag because of shederps performance,  and post game presser. 

I.e. he showed the pros he wasn't a leader, or face of the franchise material.

Sanders will be a first/second round pick. You can not like him all you want, but NFL teams draft arm talent. Period, end of story. The feel good, locker room stuff is nice if you can get it, but they'll absolutely take a chance on a headcase QB who can make all the throws.

More along the lines of a case by case basis. There are some examples (the kid from OK who preceded Mayfield) where this is the case and there are some examples where the red flags went up and someone dropped quickly- Spencer Rattler, Ryan Mallet et al

They can drop some sure, but Rattler and Mallet aren't in the same region arm talent wise.  QB is the hardest spot to find a guy in sports and risks will be taken if potential exists, thats my take.  I think teams would love to use a 2nd rounder on the possibility of him turning out to be a starter.  Not too much risk there if he does flame out.  I still won't bat an eye if he goes 10th next year still.

Idk how much of an issue Deion will be. It sure seems like he is highly thought of by former NFL players and owners will see the dollar signs when it comes to increased exposure their team will get by signing Prime Time's son

You keep claiming he has amazing arm talent.  Sure, he might be able to make throws.  But, he has not proven he can make good decisions doing it.  That is just as big of an issue as being able to make throws.  So, you have a kid that can throw.  But, he's a cancer in the locker room and makes bad decisions with the ball.  That doesn't seem like a good recipe for being an absolutely fantastic prospect.  And, let's not forget the Deon factor.  He has proclaimed that he will only let him go to certain teams.  Well....OK....those certain teams have to be OK with poor decisions, cancer AND Deon constantly meddling in everything.

Yeah, we’ll see how he finishes the year, but seems more like a mid-round guy to me. Good upside, but enough downside to be cautious. I’ve already seen some “experts” in sports media go from declaring him a first five pick to late first round. I have a feeling things can get a lot worse in Boulder before this year is done.

He's a really good decision maker, at least as far as avoiding mistakes. The pick-six was very out of character, which I love because it means as much as he wants to deny it the crowd and defense really rattled him. He is too cautious and takes extra sacks because he'd rather hold the ball than make a risky throw, but that's better/more coachable than someone who makes bad decisions. 

I also don't know that his personality will transfer poorly to the NFL. In the college game he is a locker room cancer, but in the NFL everyone there is getting paid and the expectations are higher. A lot of guys are divas and can still find success in the NFL. I would definitely have concerns drafting him, but if you can somehow distance him from Deion, get some mentors around him, and actually have an OL in front of him there's a lot to like. Arm talent, taking care of the football, and work ethic are there. It's up to the GMs/coaches to figure out if the personality/leadership style (or lack thereof) can be fixed.

As a Cowboys fan if they brought that circus to Dallas I would no longer be a fan of that team.  I already really dislike Jones but that would be the proverbial straw.
