Yeah, good win for them. That being said, they got 4 turnovers from KU and ended up +3. They only had 271 yards of offense and 79 rushing yards. Good win for them, but play clean football against them and I think the Huskers have a game similar to last night against CU score-wise.

I'm attending this one and might actually get to see a ranked matchup, crazy.  Also, I'm the anti @Hilltopand haven't been to a win in person since Miami 2014, so....feel free to ban me if we lose.

I'm feeling pretty good about it this morning though.

We should go into every game thinking the opponent is the best team in the history of the world. We should not take any more halftime naps.

It's part of what made '95 magical.  KSU, KU, and CU all beat one another and got blasted by us.  Four in the top 10 because of it.  

We're a long way from '95, but that year is my baseline for how I cheer for teams.  Everyone is undefeated until they get destroyed by us.

Illinois is 26th and 28th in poll points this week, so there's a decent chance they'll be ranked when we play them, although they are only playing Central Michigan so they'd have to win big and/or a couple teams need to lose.

It is not never, he is 2-19 against ranked teams. The two wins coming at Temple when he went 2-5, and he went 0-11 at Baylor. 0-3 here last season.

That will be brought up for a while still until we've beaten a couple ranked teams in a row.  That's how it works.

 
2-5 at Temple is actually pretty good. 

0-11 at Baylor raises the eyebrows a bit.  I don't know the context.   Were those 11 teams monsters that just outmatched Baylor's talent?  I don't know.

He was 0-4 in his first year when they were 1-11 overall.  0-4 again his second year when they got to 7-6, so they beat the lesser teams and lost to the better teams.  Then in 2019 his only three losses were to Oklahoma twice (who finished the season #7) by three points both times then to #4 Georgia in the Sugar Bowl.  They did beat Oklahoma State, Kansas State and Texas that year (all by at least two scores) who were ranked on and off but didn't happen to be ranked when they played Baylor.

Texas actually finished the year ranked #25 his last year at Baylor.

He also beat South Florida in 2016, who went on to finish the year at #19.
