** 2024 Opponent Preview : Indiana (Game 7) **

Morning kickoffs are the worst!   The environment is ruined first thing in the morning relative to a night game. Lame!

11 AM, on the road = very sluggish and slow start for us historically (including Purdue in 2024).   Needed this one to be at night for extra juice on the road.

To be fair, we just kind of sucked on the road last year altogether under Rhule, going 1-4. Not sure the time of the game really mattered.

IU is lame.

This is not going to be some "tough" road environment.

There are tons of tickets for sale (cheap) and if NU fans want to travel, it might end up with 45K fans at the game but 10K of them will be Husker fans.

They have played the lamest teams so far, none of them are any good on defense.

This should look like the CU game.
My buddy bought us 4 tickets at $36 each lol.  Not the greatest seats but $36 is cheap.  Unless they tell their fans to wear white the stadium will look like a home game.

Yeah that sounds about right!

I saw some IU fans HOPING to get 50K in the stands for this game.  Which they predicted will include 10K Husker fans.

Just to give you an idea, one of my good friends lives about 2 miles from IU's football stadium.  He said that he can't even tell when there is a home game.

And he is a Hoosier fan and IU grad.
I've only been for the Old Oaken bucket game vs Purdue so that one draws a little more of a crowd.  But they usually both suck so a bigger crowd than the usual emptiness doesn't move the needle.
