** 2024 Opponent Preview : Indiana (Game 7) **

I hope they crumble…..this game and then keep winning. Indiana is one of those teams there really isn’t a reason to root against them when they are doing well.
I see where you are coming from. However, watch a couple of interviews with that Cignetti guy and see if you don't change your mind. I find him imminently easy to cheer against when I hear what he has to say.

You can also cheer for Indiana to continue to do well as Cignetti, if he has success there, won't be there for long. A blue blood who is suffering will come calling (I see you USC).

GO BIG RED!!!

He definitely has that arrogance, but it works a lot better when you can back it up. It's not a prerequisite to being a great coach, but like QBs a lot of the great coaches have enormous confidence that frequently crosses into or sounds like arrogance. I agree, listening to him makes me dislike him. But if he were our coach saying the same things and had us at 6-0, I'd be ok with it.

From what I can tell the amount owed to Indiana if Cignetti leaves goes down to 6 million on December 1st, which is comically low and he will definitely have offers.

I don’t think people are talking enough about how mediocre their defense is. Giving up 28 to Maryland and 24 to Northwestern. I think our offense comes out of its shell a little bit and gets us 31.

And as I’ve stated a million times already, they have not faced a defense as good as ours. FIU held them to 31. We do better.

31-24 good guys.

Would love to see the Offense come out on fire like Colorado, get them more predictable and doubting themselves, and then we put together a full game of tail whoopin' to get us confident for OSU the following week.

I hope those crapping on NU’s schedule thus far, saying we’ve played no one and deserve no credit, also acknowledge that Indiana has played an even worse schedule. If there was ever a game to get over the mental hump of losing close games…on the road….to a top 25 team…to an unbeaten team, this is it. GBR.

This doesn't make me feel any more confident.  Indiana has done what they should have done against that SOS.  Having a bad SOS doesn't mean they are bad.  It just means we have no clue if they are then going to be good against better teams.

Nebraska's job is to make sure they get a wakeup call on Saturday.
This is basically how I feel for both teams, and the relatively weak SOS to date.  I pretty much have no clue what to expect, but am looking forward to it!  I am sure I will be both surprised and not surprised, all at the same time.
