** 2024 Opponent Preview : Iowa (Game 12) **

I have coached defense where our defense was awesome and the offense was horrible and it pissed me off.

Our staff were grown a$$ men and we still would b!^@h and moan about "the other side" and I am sure there were a lot of other seasons where the guys on offense were pissed at me and how my defense was doing.
I did that once too but I coached both sides of the ball lol.  And most of our guys played both ways.  Mind boggling

I just watched the end of the game with ISU and Ferentz did something kinda dumb at the end. Iowa failed to get a first down, and they were trying to run as much clock as they could before punting it. Iowa had all 3 time outs left and there were only going to be 40 seconds left when they punted. Instead of taking a time out, they took the penalty. This wasn't a situation where they could pin them back; the guy caught it at the 20 yard line. So Ferentz gave them a free 5 yards when he didn't need to, and the FG kick was a 54 yarder.
